Is mangosteen good for diabetics?

(blindness, kidney failure etc.) My grandmother recently told me a friend of her’s who has diabetes is taking mangosteen juice and is having great results , Anyone ever tried it ? Or heard anything about it ? I have looked it up but all I am really getting is that it is being studied and there are nothing yet out about its benefits other than testimonials.
