What’s a mangosteen fruit product that I can get in stores?
Da Austrian Oak asked:
I’m told that I would probably only find them in Asian stores, but only canned. Also, I read in other answers for other people that the fruit by itself is probably not available in the U.S. by itself. So, does anyone know of a specific canned product, like the name of it? I want to taste the fruit itself even if it’s canned, not just the juice. I can get that at the Vitamin Shoppe and I’ve never even bought it. Way too expensive.

There’s a product called Xango that I purchased from my chiropractor. This is all I’ve come across…not the actual fruit. It has wonderful benefits! It tastes great too! You can read more info here:

You should go to Asia to eat it. It is very cheap over there, especially in Malaysia. US$1 could buy you about 1.5kgs of mangosteen.
Fresh – it is very juicy and has one of the highest content of Vitamin C.
